🐾 Meet Bosko – A Gentle Soul Waiting for a Miracle 💔🌍

Age: 3 years
Breed: Malinois mix
Gender: Male (neutered)
Weight: 22 kg
Health: 4DX & Leishmania negative, fully vaccinated, regularly dewormed and protected against parasites
Good with: Other dogs ✅ | People ✅ (with gentle handling)

Bosko has lived more heartbreak in three short years than most do in a lifetime.
He was abandoned, left alone in a world that hadn’t shown him kindness—then, in February 2024, he was attacked by a pit bull while already struggling to survive. The attack left a severe wound on his chest and, emotionally, it left invisible scars. He also have half of his tail, the circumstances are unknown, but the trauma made him bite at his own tail and back leg, especially during feeding. Now he doesn’t do it anymore.

Yet even after all this, Bosko has not lost his will to love or be loved.
For the past 1 year and 8 months, Bosko has been surviving in a shelter, alone in a cage, but every day is allowed to have interaction with other dogs in the yard, he’s proven to be good with both dogs and people, children and chickens. He’s not territorial, he allows people and dogs to enter his space, and he’s shown nothing but a desire to connect, when given the chance.

Bosko is:
Leash trained but can pull a bit
House clean
Peaceful around other dogs
Calm when humans enter his space, not territorial at all.
Eating well and responding better every day
He allows gentle petting on his head and shoulders. He stays alert and can show you to back off when touched near his tail, only from fear. He’s learned to trust again, one careful step at a time.
He’s waiting patiently, without bitterness for someone to say “yes” to him.

💬 “In my heart, I know he’s a truly GOOD dog,”says his caregiver. “He’s just never had anyone give him a real chance. He doesn’t need pity, he needs someone who believes in him.”

What Bosko needs is not just a home, but a commitment:
Someone who understands trauma, who respects boundaries, who will guide him, train him, and help him heal. He needs a calm, experienced rescue or adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe again.
Right now, Bosko spends every day behind metal bars, waiting—not for perfection—but for love, patience, and a chance to be more than his past.

❤ Please don’t let him grow old and forgotten in a cage. Open your heart to Bosko and let him show you the dog he truly is.
