Title: From Injury to a Life of Comfort

Location: Germany

In August 2021, Ozzy was found with a broken leg in Shkoder and brought to Tirana for surgery and recovery. After healing in the clinic, Ozzy was welcomed into an Albanian family who provided him with affection but struggled to cover his medical needs. Suddenly, Ozzy began suffering from severe itching, and a visit to the vet revealed he was positive for Leishmaniasis. He started treatment with allopurinol, alongside food and vitamins sent from Tirana.

However, his condition didn’t improve, so we brought Ozzy into our home to ensure he received the consistent care he needed. With the right attention and medical support, Ozzy gradually regained his health. We eventually secured a foster family in Düsseldorf, Germany, who fell in love with him and chose to make him a permanent part of their family.

Today, Ozzy enjoys a cozy life in Germany, with dedicated care for his medical needs. His fur is healthy and shining, and his constantly wagging tail reflects the love and comfort he now knows every day.
